Chungking Express caught my eye because Quintin Tarantino's distribution company picked it up in an attempt to bring it to the US market.  Although it was released in 1994, it doesn't have the feel of a movie from the 1990s.  So usually I enjoy foreign films despite the required subtitles, but this is one that I would only recommend to the hardcore movie fanatic.  The story revolves around the love lives of 2 police officers, and is told through each of their point of views.  The most aggravating part of it to me, SPOILER...... that there is no intertwining of the 2 lives.  So really, its 2 short movies in one.  I might be missing something, but if so, I don't care!
